My final collection is inspired by a Tibetan Buddhism story of overcoming diseases.
The story goes like this “Once upon a time, a disease engulfed a Tibetan village, and the locals sought monks for a cure. The monk taught them to hang the Tara prayer flags everywhere and recite the Tara Praise and Sutra. When the wind breeze through the prayer flag, all those touched by it were cured. Since then, no diseases ever occurred on that land ever again…”
I’m fascinated by the belief of being cured by the touch of wind and inspired me throughout the collection.
