A collection of projects from across the year, all resulting in a multiple outcomes including a film and physical work. As a visual development artist and animator, with a socially centred approach ton design, my work focusses on making information accessible and creating connections with people and the message of the project. My portfolio can be found at https://chloea1d7.myportfolio.com

My projects presented here include …

1 – BBC EdgeUcate – My response to the 2022 D&AD New Blood x BBC award brief , to create an online learning platform that provides an ‘always on’ learning experience and whilst meeting the needs of all children, pushing the boundaries of what already exists.

2 – Illuminature – A project designing a proposed festival of the Royal Parks, in celebration of the power and beauty the Royal Parks in London have. It aims to share this beauty in a new engaging way. Outcomes include a film to be projected onto the trees in Regents Park, Merchandise and leaflets aswell as animated posters which can be seen on my vimeo – https://vimeo.com/710059418

3 – Bea-u-tiful – a publication and accompanying film of my dissertation. The dissertation and the book place findings from my dissertation research in a real life scenario to highlight the way bodies have been portrayed in animation, the impact this can have and how this is changing. This was designed to remind animators and character designers to design consciously and be considerate of when and how their work can impact children physically/mentally.
