Dinji is an outdoor chair made from old dinghy sails. The fabric for this chair is sourced from VVW Galgenweel, a sailing club in Antwerp. They replace their sails every four years. There are no welds allowing for easy disassembly and recycling. Moreover, the whole frame is made with a hydraulic press and requires no electricity. The chair uses a person’s weight to bring structure to a movable frame that reflects the continuity of movement in the sailing world. The Dinji chair is suitable for outdoors throughout the whole year.
