My project is named ( SUPER LIBERAL + NICE ), and explores the concept of virtue signalling through film and the interactivity of badges. My work aims to highlight how silly it is that much of our political expression is lined with a need to be liked. Because badges can be worn, they are a great way to challenge whether or not we want to be visually connected to our virtue signalling, and also allow a conversation between them and the human nature I am highlighting. I have documented my concept with film, allowing me to show my badges in action, and importantly utilise sound, to show the relationship between discussion and this empty expression that I am conveying.
