My collection is inspired by the pre-raphealite brotherhood art movement, depicting femininity and women’s relationship with nature. I took inspiration from vintage lingerie, underwear and sleepwear garments to express a delicate vulnerability that is captured in the aforementioned art movement.
Mindful of the natural world, my design journey has focused on sustainable materials; sourcing from charity shops, vintage warehouses and dead-stock traders. Through these materials, I aimed to design with inclusivity in mind as some garments can be worn over a range of sizes. Balancing ethereal elegance alongside leisure empowers women to embrace soft femininity, comfortably.
