The inspiration for this project comes from an underlying desire to go to the movies during the pandemic. The concept was to create a book that brings in the experience of cinema through it’s pages. To create an anglyphic book, with 3D illustration narrating the story that can be read using 3D glasses.
The idea for the story originated from a regional South Indian movie. A story about a fallen dynasty that was overthrown by an enemy dynasty, ceases to exist thereafter in the 13th century. However, someone from the fallen dynasty is said to have survived and managed to preserve the bloodline till date.
இந்த உபாயத்தின் எண்ணம் தமிழ் சினிமாவின் ஆயிரத்தில் ஒருவன் திரைப்படத்தில் இருந்து உருவாகிய ஓர் ஈர்ப்பு. இப்புத்தகம், என்னை போல் புத்தகம் படிக்க விருப்பம் இல்லாத திரைப்பட ஆர்வலர்களை மனதில் வைத்து உருவாக்கப்பட்டது. சோழ வம்சத்தின் வீழ்ச்சியும், பல ஆண்டுகள் கடந்தும் இன்னும் வசித்து கொண்டிருக்கும் சோழ மக்களின் வாழ் ஆதாரம் பற்றிய உண்மை கதையை கூறும், கற்பனை கலந்த ஊடாடும் விழித்திரை பிம்ப ஓவிய புத்தகம் இது.
