Imy George is an Illustrator and Animator who works using a mixture of digital and stop motion work. As well as studying at Kingston she has also studied in Lisbon at Belas Artes and plans to continue with working internationally.
Her work often centres around the feeling of nostalgia, which is evident in her final film ‘Train Of Thought’; an animated podcast with conversational recorded dialogue around philosophical themes. In her other works, nostalgia is presented in the form of a retro-futuristic aesthetic which depicts elements of retro gaming and fantasy technology. Her work combines bold visuals with emotive storytelling and aims to make the audience captivated and questioning.
“I want to bring you into the world I created in my work, so that you can engage in the same emotions as a form of ultimate communication”
