My process observes and documents daily life with experimental mark-making. I am fascinated by intuitive methods, embracing ‘woolgathering’ and mistakes. My project, ‘FLEETING PEACE’ collects ephemeral, euphoric, and peaceful moments, and is based on my personal experience of being within nature. I am interested in recording the healing properties of our natural surroundings and categorising the sensations felt in these spaces. The project takes the form of a book, using textured paper, poems, illustrations, and photographs. This immersive process offers an opportunity for the audience to stop for a moment in the rush of the day and alleviate some of the difficulties that may not have words.

Trees, Trunks, Branches. Fluffy, stumbling, glistening spots veiled by the light.
