The Power off One
Currently kitchens are designed around timesaving means. As we move to a future where materials and resources become valued again due to problems caused by overconsumption and mindless energy use, we will have to change our behaviour taking the time to prioritise longevity and making the most of, as well as sharing the resources we have.
Redesigning a kitchen which doesn’t rely on complex heated electrical appliances, to achieve this the appliances share one efficient and easy to repair heat source which can be utilized by more than one individual in a communal fashion. The appliances are made from a limited array of durable materials and can be used from 360 degrees, to encourage communal use.
