Sensing Sensibility
My final piece is part of a variety of experiments on both film and canvas intended to explore the spontaneous visual representation of emotions. This Super 8 film has more concrete imagery than the fully abstracted painting on film and canvas that make up the rest of my final major project. The idea driving this final piece is that the audience can interact with the imagery. If a particular idea or image produces a response in the viewer, by turning the handles on avintage Cine Film Editor they can go back and even come to rest on a still frame. My hope was this physical input on the part of the viewer would make the experience more immersive
