Lisa is an illustrator and filmmaker from Italy. In her illustration practice she is inspired by her life, thoughts and imagination. She likes to create ordinary scenes, to experiment with colors, forms and different techniques and to invent characters that are sometimes sad, sometimes funny, sometimes both.
“Home and Tangerines” is an illustrated story in rhyme printed in Risograph that responds to a self initiated brief realized as major project of the course. The story tries to respond to the question “What’s the meaning of home?” through the thoughts of Robbie, a character with an unusual aspect that feels a bit sad because he struggles to give a sense to the word “home”.
Lisa also loves to approach her works experimenting with printmaking. She feels it’s something that really suits her interests and that she would like to keep exploring in her future.
“Is home something more or it’s just a place?”
