“Kim loves me” is performance work critiquing reality television and the concept of the celebrity and the audiance. I am interested in exploring The effects of a parasocial relationships, how as a collective we’ve formed these idols out of the ordinary.
Drawing inspiration form both psychoanalytic thinking and pop culture my work aims to explore ones inner world. Im interested as to how artists can visually translate lost and missing feelings, to bridge the gap between memory and art. I aim for my work to feel uncomfortable at times, combing both kitsch and twee imagery.
