Designed by Child is made to be interacted with. The centre and barrier are cushioned with recycled foam, pillows, and unwanted textiles making it a welcoming place to sit or lie down. Throughout the exhibition, it’s bound to get stained and worn similar to a well-loved toy.

Designed by Child

Furniture-esque sculpture to encapsulate my personal idea of comfort.

Materials: scrap fabrics, my hair, acrylic paint, marker, recycled foam, scrap wood, hot glue, old and thin glass cups, staples, scrap fabric, thread, magazine clippings, buttons, and stickers from my childhood
