Cocoon began with an exploration into fungi and their formations.  This became an examination into many natural forms, creating a focus on our own bodies in relation to these organic shapes.  The seven looks in this collection reflect this relationship and use knitwear to consider how clothes act as our own cocoon shells of sorts.  Observing how these ‘knitted shells’ wrap around the body and referencing bulbous silhouettes that are found in nature, the fine knit envelopes the body in a way that both distorts and accentuates the female form.
