The bathing experience to me is the only time when we are stripped down to nothing but left with our own brutally honest, and sometimes unattractive thoughts. When researching I was intrigued by the Victorian bathroom and how designers of the time treated the unsophisticated truthful moment with intricacy and care. Covering the space is heavenly hand-carved woodwork and delicate porcelain.

What can we learn from them? Should we too treat modern day living with elaborated attentiveness?

Echoing the idea of ornateness, I have manipulated fabric in an almost obsessively meticulous manner to show how the sheer idea of decoration could reflect narratives in a more impressionistic way.
