My project tells an alternative version of ‘Romeo and Juliet‘, set to the background of an imaginary future. This is a classic story about love that goes beyond hatred and distance. This project imagines the story taking place in a fictional future, where human beings and androids co-exist. As society keeps developing, so will the the story of ‘Romeo and Juliet‘.  The story has the potential to be told in many ways, and in many time periods.

This project takes the form of an illustrated graphic novel with pop-up pages, aimed at an audience of around 14-18. My approach is mostly monochromatic, with a sparing use of colour.

I have been obsessed with comics and cartoons since my childhood. It made me get interested in ‘people’ and ‘story’.
