KSA Degree Show Working Group – Sustainability Subgroup:
The Group aims to stimulate a swift shift to a circular design approach at KSA, where we aim to create innovative, restorable and regenerative degree shows, that enable KU to achieve its net zero carbon campus target (by 2038).
We are looking to build exhibitions that can be re used year on year, for physical degree shows. We will not approve ‘one off’ builds that cannot be disassembled. We will achieve reduction in waste and contribute to a regenerative culture for the future.
While preparing our current exhibition spaces no material has been disposed of, all materials have either been reused as exhibition stands or recycled back into the 3D workshops for students to use. The images show this work in progress.
